Not really what it seems!

My cousin Sheri is here so today we had a grand adventure at the South Carolina State Fair.  We got there just in time for lunch..absolutely junk food..fries, chicken kebob and red velvet cake pops(deep fried with an Oreo inside!)   And fresh sweet lemonade..talk about sugar overload!!

We walked through all the exhibits to see what there was and what had won prizes!     These lovely flowers are actually on a CAKE and are made from fondant icing.    It was so beautiful.  I have put a photo of the entire cake in the extras.     Just wow!    Even the wooden basket and flower pots are cake!    

Who knows what tomorrow has in store for us..but we know it won't contain any sugar or junk foods.  

Jerry has made it safely to Colorado for his elk hunting trip with eight of his hunting buddies. They will be gone for 10 or more days depending on the luck of the hunt!
