Blairlogie
Situated at the base of Dumyat Hill between Stirling and Menstrie, the tiny village of Blairlogie was one of central Scotland's earliest Conservation villages. Comprising of 17th-19th-century cottages and Blairlogie Castle nestling in the hills it is surrounded by fields, woods and orchards.
For a small community, nestled in a rural corner of Scotland the village has had more than its fair share of famous people. Lord George Younger, one time Secretary of State for Defence for the UK, was brought up in the village and Kenny Logan, international Scottish Rugby star grew up nearby in a house on land farmed by his family for over 100 years.
There are about 20 cottages in the village and this one is dated 1765.
