These are gorgeous crocus-like flowers, blooming in a neighbor's yard. The color is divine, one of my favorites.

I think my call with the recruiter from SCH went well but one never knows. I'm sure they are getting dozens of applications for this job so it's a great sign that they actually contacted me. What will be, will be... 

The Mr made a huge pot of chicken soup for dinner and I made biscuits (for the first time in years). My son enjoyed some of both as well. He caught a cold in the transition here so maybe it will help him. We looked at cake recipes today and picked one to make for his birthday dinner this weekend - it's chocolate-mocha. Another thing I haven't made in a long time (cake, that is).
