Blue Spring on the Waihou stream

... you can just see the Blue Spring top left behind the rock. 
We walked the Te Waihou walkway to the Blue Springs along with lots of others today. The weather was brilliant and the walkway was busy.
The blue spring supplies about 60% of New Zealand's bottled water. The stream is crystal clear but only 11 degrees all year round - no swimming allowed but who would want to at that temperature!
