Lazy day

Shelagh and Lando are gone, it's just the three of us again.  They went off on the early boat, had a calm crossing and were home before 6pm, with lots of stops for legs stretching etc.  

It was a day of housework and catching up, after a quick trip to town for a haircut and some fresh fruit and veg. There really is no such thing as a quick trip because you always meet so many folk to stop and chat to!  Today an ex NHS colleague, full of the horrors of bureaucracy and the joys of retirement!  

Should have been dancing in the evening, but we both felt a bit below par, so ended up knitting and watching Landward and Would I Lie to You instead!  Gardeners World is taped recorded for future watching. . . .
