They're Back

A well established part in my He Always Blips Those series are the migrating cranes.  I woke up because I heard these.  Nipped upstairs with the camera and hoped for the best.  I am pretty blind without my glasses.

My application for German citizenship has been approved.  It becomes officially official when I get my certificate but I am to all intents and purposes now German.

Getting the letter was a bit of a surprise, I was hoping that it might be a nice Xmas present.  But I'm delighted.  There is a bottle of Sekt in the fridge that has a very short expected life span.

It is so good to be able report something positive for a change.  Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to put verbs at the end of really long sentences.
