Happy day

As I walked past the church this morning, guests at a wedding were just emerging from the ceremony. How lucky they were to have such a beautiful day for the occasion! The church porch is decorated with knitted poppies ready for Remembrance Sunday, still a few weeks away.
I had walked down to the village in the sunshine to see an Art Exhibition in The Old Barn Hall, put on by the local art society. The pictures were excellent, and it was hard to choose a favourite.
Saving up my energy now for a WI Barn Dance this evening. Always fun to watch, but I expect I will be dragged onto the floor. Normous is coming too, reluctantly!
