Winster Ford

Friends were marshalling a classic car rally and have been at this ford in the past. I was hoping for a text from them with their location, the routes being secret until the morning. In the absence of a text,  I went to the ford on spec hoping to find them and witness cars going through the water but the ford was too deep. The rally cars were all pre 1960,  the ford was over a foot deep and would have ruined an old Mini. Mr P refused to go through in his 4X4 even for Blip.
