1200 plus - Climate March

What a great day. Over one thousand people marched to the gates of the fracking site at Preston New Road. Not easy to take photos in such circumstances, as I was part of the crowd. This is a hold the camera way above the head and press the button shot.

Some people came from other parts of the country, and I particularly liked the owl banner shown in the extra. The owners of the banner told me that they were really concerned for the future of our wildlife and the nature reserves.

At the gates there was a lot of singing and dancing, and many speeches. The sun came out and many of us had to peel off layers of clothing.
