Chris

A celebration of life today for my old colleague and science teacher Chris. Chris was a colorful character, an inspiring teacher, and someone who lived life full tilt, glass filled. He was a teacher, a naturalist, a chef, mushroom expert, a father and grandfather, a brilliant mind. I did not know until today that he helped with a White House feast of Oregon salmon during the Obama presidency, ending drinking Oregon Pinot Noir on the White House lawn. His son-in-law, in eulogizing him, named him, Lifemaster. Sad to see him gone so soon, but what a 70 years lived. Here’s a glass held high to you, Lifemaster Chris. May my life carry half of your energy.
