sandpiper

Late this evening I went for a walk along a local beach, as the evening is so lovely, long may these evenings continue, there were two sandpipers sitting quietly and i managed to get quite close even the long lens wasn't really needed. After i got the shot i went to put on my glasses ( i dont need them with cameras diopter being very sharp in the view finder) but they were not in my pocket where i had put them, so i had to retrace my steps to find them. It was a scary few minutes, with even a little panic thrown in. but i did find them luckily, i will be more careful next time.
