The River Calder and Creag Dhubh

If I lived here, I wouldn't tire of this view. Newtonmore was populated by the communities that left Glen Banchor in the nineteenth century. Near my photograph, there are traces of the old Milton township, built at the bend in the river. There's evidence of the mill lade, and three or four crofts still visible in the grass and rocks.
