Early doors

Jemma ran the Hildenborough 10k this morning so I drove her over for it. for a brew - at 09:00 so we had to be there at 08:30 - I was up dreadfully early for all of this excitement. 

Waiting at the finish I spotted someone who looked familiar and, sure enough, it was the guy I blipped last weekend at the Maidstone half-marathon. No photos of Jemma for blip so you've got a shot of Tracey Horne who finished 29th in 43:46; she was the 5th woman to finish.

From here we went to Cafe 1809 for a brew. It is owned by Kelly Holmes and named after the bib number she wore at the 2004 Athens Olympics where she won two gold medals.

Jemma usually has a pizza after a race so I'm cooking some later - one vegan and one for me...........
