Heading home from the West Country

Tim and I got up early this morning and drove to Somerset to see my Mum in hospital.  Had a pretty good drive there, with not too much traffic - and an even better one back.  Had a lovely few hours with Mum in the middle - she's very tired, but otherwise pretty well, and in good spirits.  I'd thought she might be fed up in there, but I think she's too tired to be bored!  Also, the (community) hospital is lovely, as are all the nursing staff, and the tiny ward she's on is so peaceful!

Got home around 7:30pm, had some dinner, then Tim watched the F1 qualifying and I watched the final episode of Bodyguard on iPlayer.  Excellent!
