Pretty drippy

Slept ok, but was awake at 6.10......still dark, our resident wren was up though, chirping noisily beneath the window! Lay awake brain whirring away, recall looking at the clock after 7, but must have dropped off after that ;-)

Once we were up, a walk for the paper, then back the longer route. Made coffee and read the papers, listening to the radio, some good ol 80s tunes. Then it was bacon, egg and toast for brunch, yum!

A pretty lazy afternoon, catching up on blip, just lounging, still listening to music......makes a nice change actually.

Just put a chicken in the oven, with lemon and thyme.......still got some of our own potatoes to use, with carrots, green beans and peas, and gravy of course:-)

Todays blip is just a rose, hanging on, despite the drizzle we are having today, still looking pretty!

Not sure whos going to be heading home from Strictly tonight, fancy it might be between Sean and Kate!!
