ooh er duck

Got up this morning and was happily enjoying breakfast when the bf phones and asks how long it would take to get to Gravesend. He wouldn't say why but when i told him a hour he said get ready we are going out. 
Funny really cos im the only one of us who drives. 
To cut a long story short, he thought we would see the whale and wanted to surprise me. Needless to say we saw diddly squat  BUT we had a lovely spontaneous day out and they are the best.
