I dashed out between main course and dessert this evening to catch the colour in the sky. 

In extras

Fountains Abbey this morning. Breakfast for 6 (not as financially painful as I expected) then the adventure playground (photo). We'll go back another day and wander around the abbey and water gardens.

Ripon in the afternoon. Food bought for a few days then a walk to the cathedral (photo). Knitted poppies, bunting and remembrance day flags are everywhere. 

I've also added the colour version of the mono blip. 

Those who follow me here (as opposed to elsewhere) are being rewarded with a brief record of my week in North Yorkshire.  The wifi is much slower than at home. I'm getting frustrated at watching pages load bit by bit so my blip presence is limited.
