My life in blips

By Goretex

Limeuil, Dordogne

We sought out an English speaking church to attend this morning in a small village called Limeuil. Not quite the style of service we are used to, but reflective and welcoming, none the less.

After a saunter around the village, we enjoyed a picnic beside the river - at the confluence of the Dordogne and the Vezere rivers to be precise. In the absence of a picnic rug, we bought a shower curtain, which unbeknown to us at this point in the week, would become a faithful friend to us.  Today we used it as a table cover!!!

Another interesting discovery today.... Limeuil has a baguette dispenser! You can pay by cash, contactless or credit card!! The French do love their baguettes.

We also visited the artisan ice cream maker so I opted for violette.  It tasted exacted like a packet of parma violets!

Beautiful weather today - rain forecast for tomorrow, so might be an indoor pool and sauna day.
