What a nightmare the past 24 hours have been! Little did we think when we left the hotel last night that Hubbie wouldn’t be coming home with us!

He felt travel sick on the coach and threw up on the plane just as it was about to take off. The pilot was informed aborted take off and wanted to throw all 3 of us off the plane as the flight crew didn’t believe it was travel sickness! In the end Ethan & I were allowed to stay on the plane but Hubbie got removed and taken to Corfu General Hospital. So angry with how the staff dealt with it for a multiple of reasons

Landed at about 3am but although I knew what carpark our car was in, I didn’t know what part Hubbie had parked it in. So Ethan & I had to wander round a deserted car park full of 3000 cars in the pitch back, trying to find our car.

Finally got home around 4.30am. Managed 2 hours sleep before I had to wake Ethan to drive him to his school camp at Lowport (he had missed day 1 yesterday). I was so tired and emotional as I still didn’t know at this point where / how Hubbie was, that I burst into tears in front of the headteacher.

Spent the rest of the day on the phone to Jet2 and Travel Insurance trying to get updates on Hubbie and figuring out how to get him home!

So, so tired and upset tonight.
