Man on a mission

What superb sunny weather we've had this long weekend at Lake Tarawera. It all went quiet about noon as the last of the out-of-towners departed back to their weekday homes and as we fondly thought we'd finished all our maintenance tasks I spotted one of the cross bars missing on our jetty . Tape measure to the ready, timber needs noted, Dr D is all set to buy a trailer load of 6 x 2s and come back to replace what's missing and 14 decking planks as well. It never stops but all good fun. As one of our neighbours said, we need to keep being doers and avoid turning into sitters and moaners : ))
