morning fog

I walked through farm fields to the Cowichan River. Several of the farm fields are now part of the estuary again. I saw the occasional fence post and wire. My first time in these fields. Many dead salmon on the banks of the river and in the fields. Ravens, crows and seagulls eating fish. I heard swans and Canada geese. This week more bald eagles perched in trees, also by the river to feed on the salmon.
