Friday night at the Art Museum. They were had demonstrations of origami (paper folding), shūji (calligraphy), waka (poetry writing), and ikebana (flower arranging), as well as tastings of sake (rice wine), and zensai (appetizers); I hope I have all that right. Fun, and nicely distracting. So, naturally, we had dinner at our favorite, nearby restaurant, Shigezo.
I don't suppose any of the lovely paper plates, used for about two bites of finger food, were reused, recycled, or reduced. Sigh.
