A walk in the woods.

After a chilly start it has been another glorious autumn day, and felt warm in the sunshine.

This morning I met a friend and committee member for coffee.
Had a nice catchup, as well as finding out about the last Wine Club meeting which we missed.

Then after lunch went with Mr C for a walk in Judy Woods.
The floor was a carpet of golden leaves, mainly oak, which crunched underfoot as we walked along.
Still many leaves left on the beech trees, which looked beautiful as the golden sunlight shone through.

My blip photo was taken from Judy bridge, looking up the old packhorse trail.
I loved the shadows of the fence.
They say it is going to come much colder, so making the most of these last warm autumn days.
