Dartmoor View
As today was forecast to be sunny we headed out to Castle Drogo to walk a route that I would be leading next week. The walk comprises the classic River Teign circuit and extends it up to Cranbrook Castle an Iron Age Hill Fort on the other side of the river. It was a glorious day for the walk, the leaves were beginning to show their Autumnal colours and visibility was good with views of the main Dartmoor hills in the distance. This shot was taken close to Castle Drogo and you can see the top of Sharp Tor in the middle of the picture.
A good walk of around 8 miles with lots of hilly bits.
