MonoMonday - Alien

I was going to do selfie as I am officially an alien in this country. What I had in mind didn't work so here is an alien indigenous figure that I bought for Hubby many years ago. I am ashamed to say I have forgotten what she is called and her significance. I am sure there was some some paperwork that came with it which i must hunt out.
I had a lovely day playing cards and having lunch with friends. I couldn't believe  when I left home at 10am that it was only 4 degrees. It turned out a sunny day in the end and warmed up somewhat in the afternoon.
