That is Lucy ...

And she is paddling in the Pacific Ocean with Malibu pier behind her .. we have rented a beach side dwelling for two nights as part of this road trip ... this little house is AMAZING .. it’s just like you see in the movies .. on wooden strut thingies underneath ...
We left San Luis about 9am and then had a stop in Santa Barbara for coffee and a walk on the pier there . It’s a clean and delightful town with some lovely local shops too .

Then we set off for Malibu which took a couple of hours as I like to stop and take pictures of the truly amazing scenery .
After getting our bearings and Lucy having a wander outside we drove down to Santa Monica pier where we had an evening meal and a wander .
