A Time for Milkweed

Dear Diary,

One of the great things about my new little Canon camera is I carry it everywhere with me.  So when I see a particularly nice patch of milkweed blowing in the breeze I can pull over and photograph it.  The light was just perfect on it.

Every year I try a new and somewhat different take on the humble milkweed and every year I pick a stem and take it for a ride down the road, scattering the seeds out the window of the car as I go.  Ah...tradition...it's a good thing!
