A long time ago...

Can't believe this was only this morning. Started the day French plaiting hair for a tap exam and ending it on a sofa eating curry watching Strictly and Homeland. In between have mainly been Chess Mom. J was playing in a team tournament - tough gig for him as he was on board 1 so has spent the day playing kids two years older. Did okay, winning 2 out of his 5 games. And overall the team came second so a good result. Most importantly he really enjoyed himself. And wasn't too bad for me either. Often I struggle to focus on anything in that environment but perhaps the pressure of a deadline on Tuesday helped but I got a big piece of work done.
