clean the metal filter from a hob extractor fan.

I could hear a whistling noise whilst making the dinner today, so I decided the metal filter on the extractor fan needed a good clean. Judging by the disgusting brown sticky mess on the photo you can see why. I plunged it into a hot bucket of dissolved soda crystals and gave it a scrub. The muck slid off like butter off a hot knife. Finally into the dishwasher for a sparking finish and hey presto, it looks like new.

It's hilarious that I chose that as todays blip. I have been to work but hadn't taken any photos. Happy Monday..
