BARCELONA DAY 2

Breakfast in an artisan cafe opposite hotel (better value than the hotel buffet).
We walked 15 mins up to
#Casa Batillo ...one of Antoni Gaudi house. We had booked tickets online luckily. It is an amazing building and the audio tour had a brilliant visual effects handset too.
#then onto the first day of our bus tour ( I love ‘em ). We did most of the blue line then got off for a lunch break in another lovely cafe avoiding obvious coffee chains!!!. Then we got onto the red route to go up the top of Montjuic hopping off briefly to see the Art museum and the fountain area. We had an annoying wait until the next bus up where we discovered the cable car I meant to get!!!! The queues for the buses were very long so we stayed put!!
After 30 mins we got off and hopped into a taxi to get to
#Park Gruell another of Gaudi’s masterpieces....sadly a lot was now under maintenance but the views were spectacular.
We part walked and taxied back to the hotel for a chill time before heading out to Las Ramblas where we enjoyed another
# paella and a glass of bubbly....finished off with a chocolate and strawberry crepe.

Thankful for....a tour bus and a comfy bed.
