Perry (Tuesday 23rd October 2018)

Whenever I walk into town I always do a circuit around St Mary's looking up at the tower in the hope of seeing the local peregrine falcon, and today I was lucky, especially as I was carrying my superzoom bridge camera just in case.
As I approached there were a number of starlings at the top of the tower so I was sure the falcon would not be there, but he was only a yard or two away. A few years ago there was a breeding couple on the tower (Eric and Erica) and it is thought that Perry is their offspring.
