of the musical variety. One is advised to stick with one weight and length of dulcimer hammers - but I couldn't resist these long, light hammers. Different woods and weights produce different tones and timbres from the same instrument so hammer collecting becomes a bit of a side hobby . . . I should be practising exercises with them right now.
