Fallow Deer Bellowing

The deer rut has started at Charlecote park so the bucks and does are in relatively close proximity to each other,  with several small groups around the Deer Park end of the bridge over the Dene.

This buck appeared to be doing most of the bellowing and he was the largest of the ones I saw this afternoon. I did see a couple of groups with two bucks, but no sign of any competition betewen them ... or perhaps they have not quite understood the process yet?

Shot into the sunlight so I have used the dehaze slider in lightroom and footered with the green saturation to get the colours close to what I remembered.
