Subtling sideways

This ridiculously pink shot of Uig ('sunset') was the only dry moment of the day. Wind and low cloud produced that well known 'sideways rain' phenomenon, which with poor visibility made photography v difficult. Definitely a Threlkeld day, so we started with the next best thing: the Talisker distillery. :)

All in all a very frustrating day of glimpses of recessionary fells but little else. To cap it all, our ferry to Harris was delayed and the journey extended as they had to stop off at Uist to drop off those who had been stranded by yesterday's cancellation. We arrived in Tarbert at around midnight. Better things tomorrow, hopefully.
