I could have called this 'A River Runs Through It'

The river Cherwell runs through the back of some local villages, and in this area is adjacent to the Oxford canal. With all the rain recently the Cherwell has broken its banks.

This picture doesn't do it justice. It shows the canal on the left and the flood plain on the right with a slither of land in between that this lady was walking her dogs along. The water on the flood plain was moving quite a bit, and there were a few flooded houses around.

I got a few other good pictures around the floods and was stuck on choosing one. I plumbed for this as it fulfilled the brief for the challenge today.
