Storytellers’ Project

Photo Cred: my surfing buddy John.

After 2 1/2 months preparing for this night, we did it. It was a great night, five stories in all, and a sold out show. I felt good about my story; my worst fear was that I would leave out some important detail, but I remembered it all. All of the stories were compelling...but Tom said mine was the best (but she admits to being a bit partial). Now what do I do? I am thinking of the Grateful Dead song, “Terrapin Station”, and the lyric, “Storyteller makes no choice, soon you will not hear his voice, his job is to shed light, not to master.”
