Cow SOS

Even more rain fell today making life and travelling very difficult. On our way home from Yeovil we stopped to take a photo of some fields where the flooding is so bad, everything has turned into a lake.
Just as I was about to walk back to the car I spotted a cow trapped on a metre square of grass in this 'lake'. What to do?

Will it be ok or do we need to alert the Farmer?

We decided to call the RSPCA and explained the situation to them, seems like we did the right thing as an Officer was dispatched to respond.

In all the distress the flooding is causing, you forget that it affects the animals too.
Super efficient service from the RSPCA,I was very impressed.

I'm just back from the airport run so that Mr G catches his flight back to Scotland. Such a fast weekend, even if I did spend a lot of it doing someone's laundry! Hope he get another flight booked soon and we might just see him in a fortnight's time.
