King parrot came to say hello this morning. I grabbed my Pentax, and a lens that had come into memory lately: my Takumar Bayonet 135/2.5 - a truly wonderful old bit of manual glass.

I used Affinity Photo on my iPad to develop and process the RAW; once again, it enabled me to get the wonderful red without blowing anything out - it’s the only app with which I’ve consistently been able to achieve that. From there, a little tweak to the “light” slider in Photos gave it a bit more pop, and here we are. 8)
