Busy, busy, busy

For those of you who follow our Blips regularly you will know that we own homes in Cornwall and Edinburgh and are trying to live between the two. We've just spent the summer in Cornwall and now we are in Edinburgh. To be honest, my very lovely owner, Ann, was getting a bit bored in Cornwall. Well there's only so much time one can sit in the sun drinking wine??!! Now she wishes she had time to get bored?!


Since we came back to Edinburgh, 3 weeks ago, Ann doesn't seem to have had 2 mins to call her own? All she wants to do is sit and watch Jeremy Kyle/drink wine chillax.


Take today, for example; we got up at 7.30pm and I had a 'drag' around the block. I am like a snail on my morning walk. In fact, Ann keeps telling me that a snail could go quicker, but I'm sure that's not true.

Anyway, Ann is on a bit of a fitness regime so off she went to 'Juvenate Health & Fitness Club' to do the 'Nifty 50's' class. The 'Nifty 50's' class is full of 'very fit' 60 year olds??!! 30 years ago Ann was an aerobic instructor and taught 3 classes a week and took part in another 7. 'Nifty 50's' is a throwback to the 80's? …..................Except Ann is not very fit?! Apparently she's blaming me for her lack of fitness because now that I'm old, I don't get the two hours of walks that I've had all my life?! Ann said, 'Molly, I'm turning into a big fat slob and it's all your fault because you won't go on a proper walk first thing in the morning.' Mmmmm………… I bet when Ann is100 years old, she won't want to get woken up to go for a hours walk around the streets either?! 


When Ann came back from 'Nifty 50s' I was sound asleep on the sofa, but that was OK because Ann tickled me behind my ears and said, 'Molly, I have to go and do my first meet & greet job for 'Guest Ready'. I'll only be a couple of hours and then we'll go on the bus somewhere for your walk.'


Ann seems to have landed herself the bestest job ever. Well something has to pay for my treats?!  She is a 'meet & greeter'. Ie, she meets & greets visitors at holiday let homes. The only trouble is..................... she needs to get used to all the technology. Ie, she has various checks on the property that she has to do, via an app thingy, and today she didn't think one of the locks was operating as it should. No worries..................... she has people supporting her......................... on a 'WhatsApp' thingy.................... in Kuala Lumpa??? Guess she's just going to have to move with the times................ But why don't people just talk to each other????? Today she shadowed a very lovely 12 year old  young man, but she's got two 'Meet & Greets' to do tomorrow by herself. #technologyisnotAnnsstrongpoint

….......................And if anyone is interested...................... when Ann came back from her 'meet & greet', we jumped walked sedately onto the number 15 bus and went to 'Fairmilehead Park'. I had the most fabulous run around and then we walked down to 'Braidburn Valley Park' where I did a bit of splish, slash, sploshing. Ann was a bit worried that I was too wet to get the bus home, but she was absolutely exhausted, even though I was walking sensibly on my lead, so when we came out of 'Braidburn Valley Park' we jumped walked sedately onto the number 11 bus and came home.
