Progress

The jet-lag is wearing off, and today I finally caught up on things I'd not done when away in Germany and America so could start making the "minor" revisions to a paper for which I received referees' reports on Monday. Although this is a routine task for most academics - who publish 4+ papers per year - it'll be the first paper I've done this for since (heavens!) 2011. Although I've had my name on seven in the interim - a pathetic rate of publication if I did nothing else outside teaching and administration - the work's been done by collaborators or my former PhD student. The paper I'm working on is my first ever with a current PhD student (И) so it's very important.
