What an amazing experience.

The Bambelela rehabilitation centre for vervet monkeys is an amazing place. The work they do to form new troops and get them back in the wild is extraordinary, as are the number of cats who choose to live with the monkeys to help keep rodents at bay. The sanctuary also has a few baboons in their care.

Patrick is just five weeks old and keeping his carers on the go with feeds every 15 minutes. His wee pal Ginge, at one and a half weeks, is just as cute although a lot more sleepy.

So good to know there are such caring people out there.
