Kynäjalava

There are two protected tree species in Finland: Spreading elm and Scotch elm. In Pirkkala we have Spreading elms and now someone has marked all individuals in Rajasalmi. I saw 6 marked trees, in Finland there are about 2000 Spreading elms

I had a busy day but was able to spend 30 mins outdoors before it got dark. Weather was cold, but sunny.
