Another quiet day at the office.
Whilst standing outside the office with the other lepers, having a smoke, it gives one an opportunity to listen to the sounds of the outside world.
Our office is an air-conditioned, quadruple-glazed, hermetically sealed chamber that is designed to culture some of the most virulent bacteria known to man. We have been in this office for almost two years now, and I have had a sore throat and runny nose for just about.... 2 years.
Some people are thinking about leaving the company because they have never ever felt well, or for that matter, the correct temperature. If the front door is left open, the aircon unbalances itself and consequently fries one part of the building whilst freezing the other.
So back to a nice break outside... the sound of the birds singing in the trees, the sound of the powertools from the construction site opposite and the roar of the jet engines as planes come into land at Manchester International.
I'd still rather be outside though.
PS I'm off on my travels, so I won't be able to publish, or comment until Friday lunchtime (if I'm lucky). See Ya then!
