Cute Chaffinch

The garden birds seemed quite oblivious to the heavy rain, the trees around the house were full of them, they waited in turn to visit the feeder full of sunflower seeds, I'm enjoying blipping them from the shelter of my bedroom, the window open, my elbows on the window sill to keep the camera steady. I liked this image too, they make great subjects for a rainy day!
An invite to Sunday lunch was a lovely thing to do on such a dreary day, a birthday celebration for Matt and a lovely gathering of friends. Caught a bit of the Sunday music session in Hackets, Kenny and friends, wonderful music and a lovely atmosphere, life is good.
