Today’s breakfast visitor
This red squirrel made a surprise appearance this morning.Again this was before sunrise and taken through the window but it was so nice to see him/her.Look at the bushy tail ! It was there for just a short time, sat on the bird box, had a clean, and then disappeared round the other side of the tree.
Later we dropped David off at North Kessock for a meeting. We had a quick glimpse of the otter. The tide was going out and it the water was moving quickly.
We then went to The Waterside hoping for High Tea but it’s been taken over by the hotel next door , The Glen Mhor, and it’s no longer on the menu so we had the Pre theatre meal which was ok but abit mediocre, I do not really class two scoops of ice cream plonked on a white plate as a pudding worth £4 ! Do not think we’ll be going back anytime soon.
Afterwards we went to Eden Court to see Doug Allan, a Scottish photographer which work you will definitely have seen before especially underwater shots, those of Polar Bears and penguins from the Blue Planet serieshttp://www.josarsby.com/news/2018/3/28/doug-allan-wild-images-wild-life-scottish-theatre-tour-2018.A fascinating and funny talk and also thought provoking. Why is it taking Governments so long to wake up to the fact we are ruining the plant, something has to be done now, it’s nearly too late !k
