Visited the Plymouth Gin distillery; we are taking a conference to Plymouth in April and offering an optional extra of a tour here, so in-depth research was indicated. A fascinating place; the building dates from before the sixteenth century, and the Pilgrim Fathers spent the night there before sailing from Plymouth. There is a wooden board with all their names painted on it. The tour is very interesting; if you take the longer one, you can create your own gin.
