Unexpected sunshine

It was cloudy and quite cold this morning - when the sunshine broke through later in the morning it was unexpected, and lovely to see. I had a good walk with Murdoch, and then went off and bought groceries.

It's been a dull day at home, I have been trying to finalise my last arts society event for this term and dealing with the V&A is so frustrating - they don't reply to emails, when you phone they are perfectly helpful and polite but then they don't send the confirmation and invoice to me as promised...this has been going on all week and I am no further than I was on Monday...aargh! There is a terrific Mary Quant exhibition coming next year that I wish to do a group booking for the society but dealing with them is such a nightmare that I don't think I will!

A quiet night at home, Gavin is away and Thomas is going to a friend so I can eat what I want and watch TV that I want - but first I must finish the ironing.
