Sweet Dreams...

Backblipped 25/10/18 

A fairly nondescript day until 5pm when we headed to Andrew and Nikki's.

David, Ele, Kenny, Andrew and Jennifer had tickets to go and see The Feeling in Glasgow, and I was spending the evening with Nikki and Esme and Nikki's mum A, who popped in too.

After a chippy tea, they all headed off leaving Nikki, Esme, A and me.

Had a lovely evening of chat, tea and cuddles with Esme.  One of those cosy evenings where time slows down and conversation tails off as gazes return to the chubby little cheeks and rosebud lips of this little bubba. 

She wasn't asleep the whole evening and I got to cuddle and chat with her and see her at her most alert with her blue eyes staring deep into my soul as a smile tickled the corners of her mouth.

Just to keep it real, she also caused great hilarity by having a massive bottom explosion that necessitated an immediate strip, clean up and emergency dook in the kitchen sink!

Once she was all clean and sweet smelling again I gave her her last feed and watched the milk coma slowly take over her body till she was out for the count.  

Nikki says she's been sleeping till 8am after her last feed but she woke again when the gang returned from the concert and when we left at 11.15pm she was bright eyed and charming everyone again.  Hope it wasn't too long till she re-settled.

PS  The Feeling were brilliant apparently :-)
