I Love ... Birthdays

Not mine, Rebecca's! She turned 15 on Wednesday and so had to face the ritual of the birthday hat at church this morning. She looked very grown up today.

My friend Johann joined us for lunch at home after church, and we spent the afternoon talking, taking Liffey for a walk, and sharing testimonies. Feeling very refreshed and blessed by honesty, and encouraged by the hope God gives.

At youth this evening we were discussing praying continually, and practising God's presence. Luke shared a little from Philippians 4 and how it had been helpful to him, and Johann came along and shared about his mission trip to Swaziland this summer. Afterwards we all had great fun dancing and doing handstands!
