Cheers!
Its Mx's first birthday today and it was nice to call and see him a couple of times in between the hurly burly of the day - mind you of course he was clueless of the significance and just pootled around as usual as we sang to him!
At lunchtime my group of colleagues started arriving for our regular reunion session - this one marks 10 years since we first met at the start of a training programme that we all really enjoyed (mainly because we seemed to gel with and complement each other so well). There were 21 of us initially, although shortly after the formal part of the programme finished 2 of them left the sector, and a couple have since retired, but since then the core group has met once or twice a year. It's been a tough 10 years in some ways - 3 of our group have died, and 2 are currently seriously ill - but it's always special to meet up (previous meeting in 2017 )
